Back before the days of Lost Lands, head bangers had Excision‘s yearly Shambhala mix as the one annual occurrence to look forward to more than anything else. Un-coincidentally enough, the mixtape’s annual release halted abruptly in 2017 because it historically arrived on the same weekend as the dino-themed festival.

Now that Jeff Abel’s head crushing bass music festival has wrapped its second successful year, he’s returned two months later with a new mixtape that fans have been crooning for. Introducing: Excision’s Lost Lands 2018 mix, a remastered version of the two-hour set he threw down in Ohio’s Legend Valley on night one.

Spanning 105 tracks in length, the mix covers the full gambit of hard-hitting dubstep, including a whole cast of his long-time collaborators and tons of up-and-comers that have been making their swift entrance into X’s sector of bass music.

Fans can enjoy two frantic hours of music from the usual suspects, including Space Laces, SLANDER, NGHTMRE, Svdden Death, Sullivan King, Eptic, Antiserum, Spag Heddy, Barely Alive, Virtual Riot, and Dion Timmer. But it’s the freshed face newcomers that steal the show on this mix — from Delta Heavy, Dallas-based riddim kid HE$H, Heckler, Never Say Die‘s Kompany, and Bandlez.
