This game is an enhanced version of Pokemon Gold and Silver and was initially released on 29 July 2001 in Japan.

Fight Other Pokémons and Trainers –

In your Journey, you will battle various trainers just like you who want their pokemon to be strong.

By fighting your pokemon will gain experience and will also learn new moves that can be used against the opponent.

If you win the battle, then you will also get some money that you can use in the store to purchase something, like a Poké Ball.

When you fight a trainer the mode change to Battle Mode.

The opponent’s Pokemon is shown on the upper right side with its health bar on the left top side.

Whereas your pokemon will show on the Lower left side with its health bar on the lower right side.

You can attack the opponent by choosing one from the four attacks that your pokemon can perform.

Visit Battle Tower –

The Battle Tower is the Biggest addition in Pokemon Crystal Version that allows you to participate in Pokemon Stadium-like fight.

As soon as you enter the building, a girl will approach you and welcome you to the Battle Tower.

Battle Legendary Pokemon –

In your journey, you will battle and catch many pokemon in the game.

A Legendary Pokemon is a rare Pokemon having fantastic Attacking and defence power.

There are a total of five legendary pokemon in the game – Lugia, Ho-oh, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

But the two of the strongest pokemon are Suicine, and Lugia both found at Level 60.

You will find Suicine at the Tin Tower although getting Lugia is a bit tricky.

After you beat the Elite Four in the Kanto region, you will get a Silver Wing from an old man in the Pewter City.

You have to take the wing to the top right of Whirl Islands where you will find Lugia resting in the water.

The goal of the game is to become the strongest Pokemon trainer in the Johto and Kanto region.

To become the strongest in the Johto region, you have to fight and beat strong Pokemon Trainers known as the Gym Leaders and Elite Four.

There are a total of Eight Gym leaders in the Johto Region – Falkner, Bugsy, Whitney, Morty, Chuck, Jasmine, Pryce, and Clair.

When you beat a Gym leader, you get a Gym batch which is proof that you beat the previous leader and also the key to battle the next one.

After you beat all the eight gym leaders in the Johto Region, you will have a total of Eight Gym Batches that will lead you to the Elite Four.

Elite Four is a group of strongest Trainer in a region with Pokemon level anywhere between 50-75.

After you battled and beat all the Elite Four in Johto Region, you will finally fight the Champion of that region.

A champion is the strongest Trainer in a region that has some legendary Pokemon with level anywhere between 60-85.

After beating the Champion of the Johto Region, you will become the new champion.

Later you will head over to the Kanto region to become the strongest in that region.

You will fight the Eight Gym Leaders, Elite Four and Champion of that region and winning them all will make you the new champion of Kanto Region.

Fight Team Rocket –

Team Rocket is a criminal organisation that has returned with a new attitude after the disappearance of their leader Giovanni.

They aim to take over the world, starting with the Johto Region.

You will first encounter them at the Slowpoke Well outside Azalea town where you will find the cutting Slowpoke tails to sell them at a profit in the Johto Region.

At that moment you will fight a total of four team Rocket members with three grunts and one boss.

Later you will encounter and fight them at various locations like the Mahogany Town, Goldenrod Radio Tower, and Cerulean City.
