Will games download in rest mode?
Battlefield Hardline is taking forever, and I wanna put the system in rest mode for a few hours.

In rest mode things download faster. the reason for this being is that while in rest mode the only thing that is on is downloading and nothing else like the UI and other applications.

Nope. The ps4 is resting.
in my experience it actually downloads quite a bit quicker in rest mode

yes and actually they download faster in rest mode. o_O
Pretty sure u have to go to setting to enable to ps4 to download in rest mode.
Here's a tip, when it's downloading in rest mode the fans will stay on but very low, when it's done the fans will go silent.........in case you need a sign of when it's done.

You can enable it in the power options, I believe. I don't think it defaults to do it.

Yep, I have pretty crappy internet so I download the majority of my big downloads in rest mode.
