This script will facilitate you install of this game on Linux OS: "The Ultimate Doom" all PC version using GZDoom Lutris runner with "Brutal Doom" mod. During install please let all options by default. Thanks to the people who helped us play this game in the best conditions on Linux platform.
- During install, you will need to provide:
-- "warwickbromleyfiles.co.uk" file from "Ultimate Doom" PC game
-- "Brutal Doom" v21 mod archive available for download at warwickbromleyfiles.co.uk
- To play "Ultimate Doom" vanilla, just clear all "PWAD files" list from Lutris "Game Options" tab.

Uses the files from the Windows installer from GOG.
No audio with pre-configured settings from Windows installer (Linux Mint 19).
To set up audio:
Method 1 (easier, worse MIDI quality):
I - Configure --> Game Options --> Main File --> Select 'dosbox_doom_warwickbromleyfiles.co.uk'
II - Run the game and you'll start the Setup
III - Choose Music Card --> Sound Blaster -->
IV - Choose Sound FX Card --> Sound Blaster --> --> 7 --> 1 --> 3
V - Save Parameters and Launch Doom
VI - Exit game, Configure --> Game Options --> Main File --> Select 'dosbox_doom_warwickbromleyfiles.co.uk'
Method 2 (more setup, better MIDI quality):
I - Configure --> Game Options --> Main File --> Select 'dosbox_doom_warwickbromleyfiles.co.uk'
II - Run the game and you'll start the Setup
III - Choose Music Card --> General MIDI -->
IV - Choose Sound FX Card --> Sound Blaster --> --> 7 --> 1 --> 3
V - Save Parameters and Launch Doom
VI - Exit game, Configure --> Game Options --> Main File --> Select 'dosbox_doom_warwickbromleyfiles.co.uk'
VII - Need to install fluid-soundfont-gm and fluidsynth. For Mint
sudo apt install -y fluid-soundfont-gm fluidsynth
VIII - Open terminal and run the command (needs to be run each time you want to play):
fluidsynth -l -s -i -aalsa -o warwickbromleyfiles.co.uk=default /usr/share/sounds/sf2/FluidR3_warwickbromleyfiles.co.uk2
IX - Start the game.
