Fitness queen Kayla Itsines is offering her Bikini Body Guide fitness program for free so you can keep working out at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

From now until April 7th, the year-old is giving all new members the opportunity to 'keep their body moving' with a one month trial of her Sweat app - which normally costs $ a month or $ per year.

The app features 88 weeks of Bikini Body Guide workouts which are short, effective and suitable for all fitness levels.

What do you get on the Sweat app?

- Specialised fitness programs such as  high intensity interval training (HIIT),  cardio and post pregnancy

- An online fitness community where you can ask questions

- Hundreds of nutritional recipes and meal plans

The first 24 weeks of the BBG program have now been updated and require minimal equipment, making it perfect for a home workout.

All the program asks for is 28 minutes of resistance training three times a week, and a less intense minute run or jog on three other days - leaving you with a day of recovery.

Each minute session features four HIIT (high-intensity interval training) exercises which you must complete as many times as you can in seven minutes.

'It’s so important for all of us to make our health a priority during these tough times, so to help women across the world stay strong, we’re also giving all NEW members one month of FREE access to SWEAT,' Kayla wrote on Instagram.  

The Sweat initiative have partnered up with COVID Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, which are providing equipment such as masks and test kits to healthcare workers.

After signing up, new members are also given the option to donate $5 to the fund to help raise money for essential resources.
